The last version of Windows I used and enjoyed was actually Vista >.> It worked well on the specific laptop I had back in 2006. I started experimenting with Ubuntu in 2011 by installing it on an external hard drive. Then I got a laptop with Windows 8 and overwrote it with Ubuntu, and my only experience with Windows 7 is using it for work on desktop towers. So although I didn't dislike Win7, I also don't have any fond memories of it like I do with 3.11, 95, 98, XP, and Vista

(Actually pretty sure my laptop was from the end of 2007)

Pretty sure I installed Google Chrome back when it first came out and was exclusive to Vista (if I'm remembering right). It had tree-style tabs as an option, then Google removed that option so I went back to Firefox with my billion extensions 😛

@brianna Fond memories of 3.11? I hated that third rate excuse for a GUI every second I suffered it (though I knew Geos, Amiga, and Mac, so I knew how much better things could be)

@tfb well, at the time I was so young that I only used it to launch DOS games
